We have been working on coming up with the best and most effective way to move forward with Church school this fall. I have talked with Father Alexander briefly about some options, so I thought I would share with you all.
- We could prepare packets at the beginning of each month for kids to take home and work on throughout the month. They can turn them in on the last Sunday (weekend) of the month and pick up their new packet for the next month.
- We also talked about Father having Zoom lessons with the kids maybe once during the month by class and we could have each teacher do a Zoom meeting once during the month to go over the lessons.
- We talked about having one Sunday school class per Sunday meet after Liturgy. (Example: Pre-K and Kindergarten would have the first Sunday of the month, Tammy and Linda’s class could meet the second Sunday, etc…). That would give some face to face interaction of course with the social distancing.
- We can also do a combination of any of the previous ideas.
I would love some feedback on what your thoughts are. I am flexible and open to any ideas of how we can make this upcoming Church School year go as smoothly as possible despite the challenges.
**Teachers: Please be sure to get your background checks completed**
Thank you so much for your input on this!
