Worship and Music

Orthodox Christianity stresses a way of life and belief that is expressed particularly through worship. There are a number of ways for parishioners of all ages to participate in Worship and Liturgical Music Ministries.

Worship

Altar Service - Acolytes

Altar Service ministry provides the youth and adults of our parish the opportunity to assist in the celebration of services.

Music

Chanters

Chanting has its roots in the early days of the church. Byzantine Chant, is the most traditional and ancient form of liturgical music.

Liturgical Choir

We lead the congregation in praying and singing the Liturgy each Sunday and also sing for special feast days on weekdays.

Myrrh Bearers

Myrrh Bearers ministry provides young girls of our parish the opportunity to assist in the celebration Holy Friday and Pascha of services.
